Rally was an example digital finance product that I designed to convey and experiment with new Material Design components and capabilities using Material Theming. Notably, this product used unique elevation and layering to further the tacticle metaphor of Material Design.

Hello there, my name is David Allin and I’m currently a Senior Designer leading visual and product design for Google’s smartglasses platform. I also co-lead Studio Woo Woo an installation and ceramic studio.

I’m personally interested in the influence of written and visual languages, and how they have the power to transform the way we interact with or interpret the world.
